About Us
About the Church
Sunrise Christian Church is a non-denominational Bible teaching church and is self
supporting.
Our purpose is to worship God in spirit and in truth.
Our focus is the study of God’s word to discover His plan for our individual lives and His
plan for our church. We also study to learn biblical principles for victorious living that will
glorify God on earth.
Our work is to make disciples, first, in the communities we live in and then throughout the
world, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and
teaching them all that Jesus commanded.
What We Believe
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God without error.
We believe that there is one living and true God existing in three persons, the Father, the
Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth and man.
We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ.
We believe that Jesus died on the cross and was buried and was resurrected on the third
day according to the scriptures.
We believe that Jesus ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God.
We believe that there is only one way to enter into the kingdom of God and that is by
repentance of sin and belief in Jesus Christ as Savior.
We believe that Jesus will return to this world to judge the living and the dead and to reign in
glory for a thousand years.
We believe that there is one true church that is made up of "born again"
believers throughout the world.
