Putting on a roof for a needy family
in Mexico in the name of Jesus.
Sunrise Christian Church
Once a year, Sunrise Christian Church sends a team of short-term
missionaries to the outskirts of Tijuana, Mexico to build a house for an
impoverished family in the name of Jesus. The team experiences the blessings
of giving, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" Acts 20:35.
Sunrise members use their carpentry, painting, electrical, cleaning and many
other skills to build decent and adequate housing for a needy family.
As well as building a house, the Gospel is shared with family members and
neighbors. The Gospel is also shared with neighborhood children through a
three-day Good News Bible Club.
The short-term mission trip is in conjunction with West Hills Community Church
of Morgan Hill. The trip is usually in April or May, and is five days in duration.

serving the Lord with Action International Ministries in the country of
Cambodia.

South Valley Pregnancy Care Center
Sunrise Christian Church is a financial supporter of South Valley Pregnancy
Care Center, which provides Biblical counsel and Christ-like care for
expectant mothers in crisis.
